Greg Prichard writes: The Storm have the minor premiership wrapped up. They have lost Adam Blair to suspension, but have Cooper Cronk back. The Roosters have come up with a good spell of form recently and will be highly motivated to cap it off by knocking over the competition favourites.

AAP writes: After last week's loss to the Sea Eagles, Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy will be ramming home to his players the importance of going into the finals with a win. Following the week of drama and disappointment they've had, it's hard to see the Storm not coming out full of fire. Having said that, the Roosters are in pretty good form and they've got nothing to lose in their final match as they continue their mission to restore credibility. Cooper Cronk is set to return for the Storm, however their forward pack will be left thin without Adam Blair and Sika Manu.

Key: The Roosters aren't without hope, but Bellamy and the Storm are too professional. This match is important for team psyche and they'll be hungry.

ROOSTERS: Anthony Minichiello, Sam Perrett, Justin Carney, Joseph Leilua, Phil Graham, Braith Anasta (capt), Mitchell Pearce, Jason Ryles, Jake Friend, Lama Tasi, Boyd Cordner, Aidan Guerra, Frank-Paul Nuuausala. Interchange: Anthony Mitchell, Mose Masoe, Brad Takairangi, Tinirau Arona, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (one to be omitted).

STORM: Billy Slater, Matthew Duffie, Dane Nielsen, Beau Champion, Anthony Quinn, Gareth Widdop, Cooper Cronk, Jesse Bromwich, Cameron Smith (capt), Bryan Norrie, Kevin Proctor, Ryan Hinchcliffe, Todd Lowrie. Interchange: Rory Kostjasyn, Atelea Vea, Adam Woolnough, Jaiman Lowe.
