Greg Prichard writes: Huge game, as the result affects where both teams finish. The Cowboys could finish fourth or as low as seventh, it’s the same for the Warriors. The Cowboys were flat out beating the Sharks last time. The Warriors are in good form.

AAP writes: Massive match for both sides, as they strive to finish as high up the ladder as possible. With the loser likely to face Manly in a tough elimination semi in Sydney, the victor could find themselves in a juicy first-up meeting with Brisbane. While a trip to Suncorp wouldn't be easy, the Cowboys and Warriors both match up well with the Broncos and would fancy their chances of springing a surprise.

The Warriors can't afford to be deterred by their last-start loss to the Dragons, and must continue to trust what's worked for them.

North Queensland haven't exactly clicked in recent weeks, but with Johnathan Thurston and Matt Bowen in their side, they're capable of breaking apart any game.

Key: If Warriors play physical they should have too much power over 80 minutes for the Cowboys, and the likes of James Maloney and Kevin Locke will find openings.

WARRIORS: Kevin Locke, Bill Tupou, Joel Moon, Shaun Berrigan, Krisnan Inu, James Maloney, Shaun Johnson, Sam Rapira, Alehana Mara, Jacob Lillyman, Feleti Mateo, Simon Mannering (capt), Micheal Luck. Interchange: Lance Hohaia, Russell Packer, Ben Matulino, Ukuma Ta'ai, Lewis Brown (one to be omitted).

COWBOYS: Matthew Bowen, Ashley Graham, Brent Tate, Willie Tonga, Kalifa Faifai Loa, Ray Thompson, Johnathan Thurston (capt), Matthew Scott (capt), Aaron Payne, James Tamou, Gavin Cooper, Glenn Hall, Dallas Johnson. Interchange: James Segeyaro, Scott Bolton, Jason Taumalolo, Ashton Sims, Cory Paterson (one to be omitted).
